*Nectar of Instruction: Chanting Krishna’s Names and Living in Vraja*
In this continuing lecture on Sri Rupa Goswami’s _Nectar of Instruction _(Upadesamrita), HH Krishna Kshetra Swami discusses verses 7 and 8. Maharaj explains that the *holy name of Krishna*, though inherently sweet, is not at first relished by one whose consciousness is diseased by ignorance. By chanting attentively and regularly, however, that diseased condition is gradually destroyed, and real taste for Krishna-nama awakens.

Maharaj then discusses verse 8, the essence of all instruction, describing how one should engage the tongue and mind in Krishna’s name, form, qualities, and pastimes, and live in Vraja under the guidance of devotees deeply attached to the Lord. This lecture gives practical guidance for cultivating nama-bhajana, remembrance of Krishna, patience, and steady advancement in *Krishna consciousness*.
